Back Bacon OTTIMO BACON

We are happy to announce that at Happy Pork Butchery we are now able to provide to our clients, in addition to the Streaky Bacon, also the Back Bacon.

Back bacon is also known as "English Bacon", but regardless of what you call it, this thick-sliced bacon will leave you wanting more. Back Bacon comes from the loin, in the middle of the pig's back. It is much leaner than streaky bacon made only from the pork belly. Back bacon is derived from the same cut used for pork chops.

We take the loin and cure it with salt, sugar, and spices before smoking, so you need just to cook it few minutes and use it as a breakfast side, make a sandwich, or take advantage of its rounded shape to top a burger!
